A Dreamy Woodinville Wedding in Pastel Colors at JM Cellars

Pacific Northwest weddings in the month of May are what I dream about all year long. The wholesale market is bursting with local spring flowers and I feel like a kid in a candy shop walking through the displays. Chen and Tianyuan envisioned a romantic design at JM Cellars, one of my favorite Woodinville wedding venues. It is nestled a top a hill overlooking the valley and is a beautiful venue for an intimate wedding.

We worked in a soft pastel color palette to up the romance and bring a lightness to the venue. The couple’s guest count was intimate - only thirty-two guests - so we were able to do a lot with the florals to enhance the space. We decorated JM’s existing floral arch with greenery and fresh spring flowers in an asymmetric arch design. Down the aisle, we placed large arrangements designed to look like they were growing up out of the ground. Guests tossed flower petals as C&T walked back down the aisle after the ceremony.

The reception setup outside on JM’s patio brought together a mix of contemporary and classic design elements. We placed crescent shape inspired arrangements on each table, accented by smaller exposed frog arrangements, and sprinkled each place setting with ‘cherry blossoms’ to give the tables a unique feel.

Other fun design elements included a cascading wire structure adorned with cut blooms as a backdrop to the wedding cake, and a hanging floral curtain installation.

Thank you to the fantastic team that worked on this wedding!
